Three-time Grammy Award-winning band Maroon 5 is returning to Dolby Live at Park MGM this year for 16 performances of their Las Vegas residency “M5LV The Residency,” and frontman Adam Levine and his bandmates kick it all off on May 17.
With the residency shows, Maroon 5 gives fans an exclusive concert experience in Dolby Live, Park MGM’s 5,200-seat entertainment venue. Maroon 5’s only-in-Las Vegas spectacular is packed with the band’s anthemic top hits, including RIAA Diamond-certified songs “Sugar,” “Girls Like You” and “Moves Like Jagger.”
Produced by Baz Halpin and directed by Parker Genoway, Maroon 5 custom designed the show for the Dolby Live stage, immersing the audience in Dolby Atmos audio. In other words, the sound is outstanding, as are the visuals.
The panoramic and multilayered video box and Dolby Atmos sound design, ensuring high-intensity visuals and rich sound, surround and envelop the audience as Adam and Co. serve hit after hit in a show that encapsulates Maroon 5’s two-decade career.
I attended Maroon 5’s opening night of “The Las Vegas Residency” on March 24, 2023. Levine was in super-fine form with his soulful falsetto and super-sexy black bell-bottom slacks. The show was hits-only, super-slick, well-produced and engaging from beginning to end.
Levine is the quintessential frontman at center stage during the 97-minute concert singing, swaying, playing guitar and charming and disarming. I deemed it my favorite Las Vegas residency at the time. I returned July 28, and the show was equally as awesome.
