Carl’s Donuts & Pastries
Family-owned and -operated since 1966, Carl’s Donuts is a stalwart and OG in Las Vegas. Along with cake, raised and fancy doughnuts, Carl’s menu offerings include raisin rolls, croissants, muffins, brownies, cookies and more, and the family business is active in the community.
Gabi Boutique Donut & Pastry
This Henderson offspring of Gabi Coffee on Spring Mountain Road is super cute and receives high marks for creativity, with doughnuts and pastries incorporating purple ube, cinnamon and cayenne, Bavarian lemon curd cream, Swiss meringue and more. Also: flower-shaped mochi doughnuts.
Pinkbox Doughnuts
Pinkbox Doughnuts is known for its creative, fun and over-the-top doughnuts, which is part of the charm. Favorites include the various DoughCros (including Nutella), El Guzman and ginormous fritters. Also: Most of the locations have 24-hour drive-thru service. Hooray!
Randy’s Donuts
There was a case made that Krispy Kreme should be included on this list, and while we love them, Randy’s Donuts is the one legendary franchise that made the cut. Randy’s stocks more than 60 varieties of doughnuts, most priced at less than $3, alongside Randy’s Rounds (larger doughnut holes).
Ronald’s Doughnuts
We love this mom-and- pop establishment in Chinatown that keeps it simple with glazed, jelly, cinnamon twists, maple bars, custard-filled, apple fritters, doughnut holes and cinnamon rolls. Several, if not many, selections at Ronald’s are vegan. They’re so OG, they’re found online on Facebook and RonaldsDonuts.site. They’re worth the search.
