AMBIENCE
There are two locations of Sam Marvin’s reimagined classic California steak- house in Las Vegas, the original in Tivoli Village and the second in The District at Green Valley Ranch in Henderson. Tivoli is two levels, while both locations have patios.
MENU RECOMMENDATIONS
The steaks on the menu are presented as a grid, and it’s cool even if, like yours truly, you don’t have a head for, er, science. The portobello fries are a must-order alongside the Creekstone Farms ribeye cap with shoestring onions, burger, pork belly burnt ends and butcherstrone soup with beef, lamb and pork.
PRO TIPS
When Marvin opened Echo & Rig in Tivoli, he called his steakhouse “affordable fine dining,” and it’s an apt description. We love that the sparkling water made in-house is complimentary. Sorry, Pellegrino.
