“Absinthe” at Caesars Palace. Underneath the big top, this Spiegelworld joint welcomes us through candy cane-colored curtains for a spectacular evening of vintage circus flare. Vibrant performers excite and delight by showcasing funny, quirky and sexy variety acts in a cozy and romantic atmosphere. Spiegelworld describes the evening perfectly: “They live to perform for your pleasure – and theirs – on ‘Absinthe’s’ astonishingly intimate stage.”

Canyon Ranch at The Venetian. This is my favorite spa in Las Vegas. The best spa starts with a great locker room. I know it sounds silly, but it means a lot knowing your belongings are safe alongside clean facilities (luxurious locker rooms) that are top of the line in facials, body care treatments, couple’s massages and facials. This is the perfect place to unwind with your partner.

SW Steakhouse at Wynn. This steakhouse has been my favorite fine-dining experience by far. Are you ready to discover an oasis on the Las Vegas Strip? You’re escorted to a gorgeous terrace underneath the desert night sky. There are quiet, cozy tables lit by candlelight, and you’re overlooking a pool that looks like a surreal dreamlike mirage surrounded by foliage kissed by crystal twinkling lights. The rumbling of music starts, and your eyes are treated to the most delicious delight of the night, the Lake of Dreams water show.

My steak and seafood recs: Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture, tenderloin; New York Strip; rib eye; and rib cap. Each juicy piece practically melts in your mouth. The Seafood Spectacular – with Maine lobster, king crab legs, jumbo shrimp, oysters, crab cocktail, tuna crudo and scallop ceviche – is to die for if you’re a seafood lover like me.

Are you ready for Discopussy? Are you ready to relive the nostalgia of Studio 54 and being chosen to go inside exclusive nightclubs? Make your disco dancing dreams come true and boogie on over to Discopussy on Fremont Street. It’s glitter, glamour, cleavage and disco balls along with thumping music to wind you up like a firecracker and set those inhibitions and pants of desire on fire!

The best Fourth of July fireworks? The best place to watch fireworks in Las Vegas is at Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson. No, it’s not just a delicious ranch dressing. GVR is southeast of the Strip with the canvas of the night sky displaying the most incredible fireworks that can be seen from a pool or on resort grounds. I highly recommend it!
