Grammy-winning rap icon Nas made his groundbreaking venue debut at Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas with the Las Vegas Philharmonic on Aug. 29.

Kicking off Labor Day weekend with a thrilling first-ever collaboration, Nas and the Philharmonic took over the intimate venue for a showstopping, sold-out performance of his globally acclaimed debut album “Illmatic,” celebrating the 30th anniversary of what Billboard has proclaimed the “No. 1 rap album of all time.”

Throughout the performance, Nas married his iconic lyrics with the incomparable instrumental talents of the Las Vegas Philharmonic, presenting an unparalleled evening of live music for hip-hop and classical music fans at Encore Theater.

“Nas With the Las Vegas Philharmonic”returned to the stage on Aug. 31 and Sept. 1. Three more dates have been announced: Feb. 5, 7 and 8. More: WynnLasVegas.com.

Timeless poet and rhyme-master Nas delivered his first full-length album “Illmatic” in 1994. Nas went on to release 14 subsequent albums, eight of which are multiplatinum and platinum, including “Nastradamus,” “Stillmatic,” “God’s Son” and “Street’s Disciple.”

With 16 Grammy nominations, Nas released “King’s Disease” in 2020, giving Nas his first Grammy for Best Rap Album, and released “King’s Disease II,” a sequel to the Grammy- winning album produced by Nas and Hit-Boy.

Most recently, Nas released the third installment of the “King’s Disease” series. With no features, “King’s Disease III” was produced by Hit-Boy and executive produced by Nas and Hit-Boy.

Nas and Hit-Boy recently released “Magic 3” featuring 15 new tracks, marking the final chapter of the run for the rapper-producer duo. “Magic 3” serves as the duo’s sixth album together in the last three years and the third installment in the “Magic” series.
