The Last Word

In honor of the late Robin Leach, Vegas Prime Magazine has reimagined his longtime Wicked Whispers & Racy Rumors as Vegas Prime Whispers – as a tip of the toque to the very-much-missed colleague, mentor and dear friend.

Vegas Prime Whispers

Which recent Las Vegas Strip performer is preparing for his iconic duo’s 40th anniversary in 2026?

Which recent Las Vegas Strip performer was suffering from a cold during the headliner performance?

Which recent Las Vegas Strip performer had one of the most no-fuss stages, like, ever, but no matter because his good looks and great voice carried the show?

Which arts venue had to be evacuated in a fire alarm during a matinee performance? (The audience returned soon after for the final act.)

Which journalist attended the back-to-back sold-out shows by Foreigner at The Venetian because “I didn’t have any plans after dinner on Saturday night.”

And congratulations to El Dorado Cantina on its 10th anniversary of serving the best Mexican food at its three locations in Las Vegas!

These are whispers, so no answers will be provided; you’ll just have to use your imagination. Email your Vegas Prime Whispers to editorial@vegasprime.com.

Celebrity Sightings

Actor, Las Vegas resident and Flecha Tequila owner Mark Wahlberg attended the Las Vegas RaidersKansas City Chiefs early afternoon game at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 27. Mickey Thomas of Starship and Jefferson Starship fame performed the national anthem – and pulled a Christina Aguilera at The Super Bowl despite the words being scrolled in front of him. Doh!

New Harrah’s mentalist headliner Colin Cloud opened the NHL game by cranking the siren at the Vegas Golden KnightsCalgary Flames matchup at T-Mobile Arena on Monday, Oct. 28. No word if he snagged a souvenir on bobblehead night.

And we’re still a little misty-eyed from seeing Adele lose it after acknowledging Celine Dion in the audience at The Colosseum, the music venue that was built for Dion at Caesars Palace, on Saturday, Oct. 26. Our hearts will go on.
