2024 MODELO VEGAS KICKOFF CLASSIC
The 2024 Modelo Vegas Kickoff Classic at Allegiant Stadium on Sept. 1 pits USC and LSU in one of the largest college football games to be played in The Entertainment Capital of the World. If you couldn’t get a ticket to the game, there are viewing parties aplenty in town.

It’s a good day when José Andrés opens a restaurant in Las Vegas, and we now have two new concepts by the celebrity and award-winning chef at Aria: Bazaar Mar, a seafood and tapas restaurant rooted in Spanish flavors, and Bar Centro steps below for a chic and upscale café experience.
NEW CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH
The Buffet at Buffalo Bill’s in Primm launched a champagne brunch Aug. 11. Available from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Sundays, unlimited champagne and mimosas are $10.99, and the expansive buffet (prime rib, seafood, desserts) is $29.99. Timewise, it’s a faster drive from my home in Henderson to Primm than it is to Summerlin! More details to come.
THE KILLERS
Somebody told me The Killers, with charismatic frontman Brandon Flowers, are performing 10 shows at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their album “Hot Fuss” through Sept. 1. So awesome! Just call me Mr. Brightside.
