Dundee Jones Park
10561 Jeffreys, Henderson. 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Two courts; free.
There can be a wait with only two courts, and play used to be later until neighbors called police on loud, unruly picklers. The new park is an especially nice place to take family and pets if pickleball isn’t your thing.
Durango Hills Park Pickleball Courts
3548-3598 N. Durango Drive, Las Vegas. 7 a.m.-11 p.m. Seven courts; free.
Durango is one of the highest-rated public parks on the west side, and the two bottom courts are usually reserved as competitive and challenge courts. Summer play starts early, and evening play varies, with pickup games a challenge.
Lone Mountain Regional Park
4445 N. Jensen St., Las Vegas. Four courts; free.
Lone Mountain in Northwest Las Vegas is another popular outdoor court with residents, but securing a court for play can be difficult because the regional park is always jam-packed. Tennis courts have marked pickleball lines, which can be confusing to players. No posted hours.

One of the largest and busiest free courts, it gets busy with players and families (who don’t always play pickleball). Be sure to secure your belongings and lock your vehicles.
