It’s gettin’ “Hot in Herre”! St. Louis rapper and actor Nelly celebrated his milestone 50th birthday at Tao Las Vegas in the Venetian on Nov. 2 with a gold-themed party thrown by his wife singer and actress Ashanti.
Comedian and actor Kevin Hart was on hand to wish the rapper a Happy Birthday while music stars took to the catwalk in the nightclub to wow the packed hotspot with one surprise performance after the next.
Anderson .Paak, Jermaine Dupri, Too Short, Trinidad James, Lloyd, O.T. Genasis, Chingy and Estelle all joined the birthday boy and his wife – the couple wed in 2023 – as they performed hit after hit in celebration.
Nelly has sold nearly 22 million albums in the U.S., making him the fourth-bestselling rap artist in the country. His solo debut album “Country Grammar” was released in 2000 and has been certified platinum 10 times, selling nearly 8.5 million copies in the U.S. alone, the fourth-bestselling rap album of all time.
