Holsteins Shakes & Buns, the burger destination known for its indulgent creations and over-the-top milkshakes, is heading to Downtown Las Vegas.
After nearly 15 years as a Las Vegas Strip favorite at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Holsteins, founded by Las Vegas-based Gen3 Hospitality, is set to open a location in The Arts District in DTLV.
Scheduled to debut in early spring 2025, gourmet burger destination Holsteins will reignite the city’s love affair with their bold flavors, playful vibe and signature style in the heart of the growing community.
Located next to The Velveteen Rabbit at 1216 S. Main St, the 2,800-square-foot Holsteins will embrace downtown’s edgy, urban spirit. The restaurant’s design will feature original brickwork, industrial concrete floors and a long bar.
Holsteins will feature cozy booths and tables, plus televisions for sports fans, making it a go-to spot for lunch, Happy Hour, dinner and late-night bites. The new downtown location also pays homage to Holsteins’ local roots.
Founder Billy Richardson, a third-generation Las Vegan, is thrilled to bring Holsteins back to its loyal fans. “Downtown Las Vegas holds a special place in my heart, and we’re excited to bring Holsteins to the neighborhood,” Richardson said.
“It’s where my father and grandfather started their businesses, and it’s just the place for Holsteins to start its next chapter. We’re creating a space where everyone can come together to share a meal and have some fun.”
Holsteins’ menu will spotlight its gourmet burgers, salads and milkshakes. Highlights include a dry-aged beef burger with smoked bacon, aged goat cheddar and truffle mayo and a plant-based burger with house-made pickles and avocado.
Bam-Boozled Shakes, Holsteins boozy takes on milkshakes, will also make the move downtown with options like the Campfire S’mores, a blend of rich chocolate, toasted marshmallow and a shot of whiskey.
The bar program will feature rotating local craft beers on tap and a menu of cocktails crafted to fit downtown’s laid-back vibe. Holsteins will be open daily for lunch and dinner and with Happy Hour specials in between.
