OK, let’s be real – 2024 was simply fabulous for me! I kicked it off by writing a column for what I believe is the best publication in Sin City – Vegas Prime Magazine. I even got to meet the incredible Editor-in-Chief Don Chareunsy, who I swear must have the keys to the entire city.
Plus, I’ve started an amazing partnership with Brian Gross from BSG PR, who connected me with so many exciting opportunities. Talk about a jackpot!
Inspired by the magic of Las Vegas, I’m ready to take all this creativity on the road when I perform my featured entertainment shows at the generous gentlemen’s clubs that welcome me.
One of my big goals for this year? Establishing a bedtime. Yes, I know it sounds like a kid’s dream, but hey, even most adults and well-cared-for children have one, right?
I totally get it – working in the nightlife means my schedule can be a little chaotic, but I’m determined to snag those glorious 7-8 hours of beauty sleep.
So, whether it’s setting a timer on my phone that I can’t snooze, investing in a digital alarm clock that I’ll blast from another room or begging my doctor to refill my Ambien script, I’m ready to conquer my sleep goals. Just wait and see how I’ll light up the world when I’m operating at full capacity.
Now, let’s talk about saying YES. You know what’s super easy? Saying NO. In fact, I think my first word was “no” – and my parents told me my second was “flabbergasted,” so I’m not sure how much I can trust them.
But here’s the deal: Setting boundaries is essential when your gut is screaming “no,” but I’ve noticed that saying “no” can sometimes be a sneaky way of hiding from life’s beautiful moments.
We hear people say, “No! I have to put myself first.” But let’s be real – sometimes that just means they’d rather cozy up in their sweatpants and binge-watch Netflix instead of joining friends to celebrate life’s big moments.
But I’m ready to break that habit. Sure, resting is important, but missing out on weddings, births and celebrations can lead to some serious long-term regrets.
So, my resolution for 2025 is to say YES to those once-in-a-lifetime experiences. Building character through shared moments and showing love to those who put their heart into planning these gatherings is what life is all about.
If you’re invited, it means you’ve touched someone’s life in a special way, and now you have the chance to discover just how much you matter.
And here’s the kicker: You always have the freedom to come and go as you please. Trust me, the vibe you bring will match the energy of everyone around you.
Experiencing all the feelings – pain, joy, excitement – gives us the ability to truly appreciate the good stuff in life. So, my New Year’s resolution is to embrace those challenges and participate in important moments, even when it’s tough.
Now, for my 2025 resolution, I plan to say YES more to opportunities that might take a little effort but seem super fun and could advance my career. I’ve heard that 90% of success is just showing up, especially for women in my industry.
So, while it might take a little more effort to get out there and shine, as long as I feel safe, peaceful and open to learning something new, I KNOW that I’ll be just fine.
I can’t wait to share all the fabulous adventures ahead – here’s to a sparkling New Year!
