Chef Emeril Lagasse’s Delmonico Steakhouse is one of the only original restaurants remaining at The Venetian since the property opened 25 years ago, and Lagasse and the Delmonico team on May 3 hosted guests for a cocktail reception to celebrate the milestone, followed by a wine dinner.

Guests were welcomed by the music of the Shea Marshall Jazz Trio and a glass of champagne and were treated to bites and libations, some of which were inspired by the opening day menu in 1999, including Emeril’s BBQ Shrimp and Brandy Cured Foie Gras. At the center of the room was a massive steak-shaped cake with a cake “baked potato” from Carlo’s Bakery by “Cake Boss” star Buddy Valastro.

“This celebration marks 25 years since we opened the doors to Delmonico Steakhouse here at The Venetian,” Lagasse said. “I’m incredibly grateful for our amazing team. Without their hard work and dedication, we would not be here. To our loyal guests, we are proud to have served you for a quarter century and look forward to continuing to grow the Delmonico Steakhouse legacy in Las Vegas.”

Delmonico Steakhouse has received recognition as one of Gayot’s Top 10 Craft Cocktail Bars and has maintained Wine Spectator’s “Grand Award” for its wine list for more than 15 consecutive years, featuring an impressive array of 2,300+ selections.

Delmonico will continue celebrating 25 years with anniversary cocktails created by Lead Mixologist Erik Kluever served in engraved commemorative glasses. Chef de Cuisine Ivan Rojas will feature special dishes throughout the remainder of the year inspired by the original 1999 menu.
