AMBIENCE
Bob Taylor’s Ranch House is a homey, wood-paneled and ranch-style restaurant serving mesquite-grilled steaks and seafood. It is nestled in an upscale suburb of Las Vegas and has been in business for more than 70 years. It is inside an old ranch house far from the Las Vegas Strip.
MENU RECOMMENDATIONS
The juicy and flavorful prime rib, which is smoked, and lobster tail, The “Duke” Burger (a half-pound hamburger of premium beef with Swiss cheese, sauteed onions, mushrooms and bacon on a toasted bun), the twice baked potato and key lime pie. Classic comfort food done well.
PRO TIPS
Bob Taylor’s Ranch House is known for dozens of stray cats roaming the grounds, perhaps the Las Vegas version of Ernest Hemingway’s mansion in Key West, Fla. The Ranch House receives points for being one of the more unique locations of a casual steakhouse in Las Vegas in the growing Centennial Hills area.
