Cirque du Soleil’s “Mad Apple” at New York-New York features New York-inspired acrobatics, music, dance, magic and comedy, a departure from other Cirque shows on the Las Vegas Strip that place a strong focus on theatricality and artistry.

Celebrating the city that never sleeps, “Mad Apple” transports audiences to New York’s wildest night out and rewrites the script on Las Vegas entertainment with a wide range of talent all set to the backdrop of the Big Apple. “Mad Apple” updated its performance schedule in April.

Fun facts about “Mad Apple”: The show’s taxi travels 368 feet per night, or about 16 miles per year, the same distance as driving around Central Park two and a half times. More than 52,000 “Mad Apple” cocktail flasks have been purchased from the stage bars.

“Mad Apple” has the largest Cirque band with 10 full-time members. And it is estimated that drummer Bruce Briggz has broken more than 1,500 drumsticks. If laid end to end, that’s .5 miles longer than the Las Vegas Strip.
