The luxurious Lunar New Year brunches at Genting Palace at Resorts World and Wing Lei at Wynn Las Vegas are two of my favorite annual luxe dining events in Las Vegas. Both are AYCE and in 2025 coincidentally priced at $128.88 per person in the Year of the Snake.
Genting Palace
Of the two brunches, Resorts World’s is the newer one, and our experiences have been impeccable: friendly greeting at the host stand; the service; the elegant and quiet ambiance; and of course the perfectly curated and prepared brunch — dim sum, noodles, crab and truffle fried rice, fish, roast duck and pork, shrimp, crab legs, lobster tails, beef tenderloin, sushi, desserts + more.
There really wasn’t room for dessert, but we did it anyway, and all of it was delectable. A table next to us was celebrating a 90th birthday, and two of the guests looked like brothers in their 90s. Yours truly: “That’s us many years from now.” My brother Charles: “I hope we’ll still be able to eat like that!”
New this year: Reservations and a deposit are required.
Wing Lei + Angie Mar
Wing Lei’s longtime LNY brunch has become so popular that it’s now invite- and hotel guest-only, so reach out to your contacts and good friends for a reservation. It’s the OG LNY luxury brunch, with the expected Wynn opulence and now more exclusive. What is new this year and more accessible at Wynn?
Chef and restaurateur Angie Mar of Le B. and The Beatrice Inn in New York City is hosting her Lunar New Year Party at Delilah at Wynn on Sunday, Feb. 2. Mar’s soirées are a place to see and be seen, where tastemakers of the fashion, food and entertainment worlds gather to toast to the Lunar New Year.
Guests will be treated to traditional favorites of dim sum served butler-style, Peking duck, live-action chef stations and cocktails. The event will feature entertainment from DJ duo The Muses, a celebratory lion dance and performances from Delilah’s musical roster. The celebration begins at 7 p.m. Feb. 2. Tickets are $500 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuities. More: Sevenrooms.com/events/delilahwlv.
Happy Lunar New Year!
