Steakhouses
It wouldn’t be a stretch to say Las Vegas is a Steakhouse Capital of the World, and Bavette’s Steakhouse, Bazaar Meat, Carversteak, Papi Steak, Scotch 80 Prime and The Steakhouse at Circus Circus are six of the best in the city. Our Issue #6 on July 14 features more than 50 favorite steakhouses in town.
Pizza
Our staff picks in August for favorite pizza: 00 Pie & Pub in Chinatown, Evel Pie in Downtown Las Vegas, Good Pie in DTLV and Henderson (new), Metro Pizza (various locations), Northside Nathan’s Detroit Pizza and Secret Pizza at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. All pizzas are not created equal.
Burgers
Our staff selections in June for favorite burgers: The Butcher Burger at Echo & Rig, The Butter Burger at Carson Kitchen, the no-fuss Calibombs, The Classic at Leone Café, The Flying Scotsman at Brewdog, The Mad Maxx Burger at Raiders Tavern & Grill, Nicco’s 28 Burger at Nicco’s Prime Cuts & Fresh Fish and the Smoked Brisket Burger at Soul Belly BBQ. OK, we’re full!
Nachos
National Nacho Day is Nov. 6, and our list in November: El Dorado Cantina, Tailgate Social Sports Bar, Su Casa, The Beast at Area15, Borracha Mexican Cantina, Cabo Wabo Cantina, Ghost Donkey, Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Sports Kitchen, McMullan’s Irish Pub, Nacho Daddy, Pancho’s Mexican Restaurant and PT’s Taverns.
Dim Sum
Our five favorite dim sum restaurants in Las Vegas were revealed in May in the early weeks of Vegas Prime Magazine – I could eat dim sum seven days a week: Din Tai Fung, Hong Kong Seafood & Dim Sum Café, Palette Tea Lounge & Dim Sum, Ping Pang Pong and Washing Potato.
Buffets + AYCE
Yes, there are not as many buffets in Las Vegas as before, but the ones remaining are still popular and busy. Our list in June: AYCE Buffet at The Palms, Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace, The Buffet at Bellagio, Wicked Spoon at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Wynn Buffet, Makino, Imperial Sushi Seafood Buffet, Gen and Top for AYCE Korean BBQ and Top and Its Sushi for sushi.
