New Year’s Eve on The Las Vegas Strip is synonymous with decadent dinners, parties at nightclubs with celebrity DJs and, of course, fireworks to celebrate the last day of the year and ring in the New Year.
With hundreds of thousands of NYE revelers in The Entertainment Capital of the World on Dec. 31, be sure to look up at midnight for a music-coordinated, eight-minute fireworks show lighting up the night sky.
As of press time (Dec. 18) for Vegas Prime Magazine, fireworks rooftop launch locations on The Strip are:
- Aria Resort & Casino
- Caesars Palace
- Fontainebleau Las Vegas
- MGM Grand Hotel and Casino
- Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino
- Resorts World Las Vegas
- The Strat Hotel, Casino & Tower
- Treasure Island (T.I. Hotel & Casino)
- The Venetian Resort Las Vegas
And don’t forget about Las Vegas Valley locations including The Plaza Hotel & Casino in Downtown Las Vegas, Red Rock Resort in Summerlin, The M Resort and Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson – and more.
Vegas Prime Pro Tip: The Las Vegas Strip begins shutting down at 6 p.m. and reopens about 2 a.m., so plan ahead. If you want to return to your hotel between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m., have your hotel key with you, as some require it for reentrance. Complimentary bus transportation will be provided all night beginning at 6 p.m.
